Scottish Rite Park, located at 2909 Woodland Avenue, is a nonprofit 55+ retirement community that opened in 1973. The residents who live there are a vital part of the neighborhood.
“The residents and staff of Scottish Rite Park enjoy frequenting the shops, dining and entertainment options on The Avenues,” said Monica Kuehl, Director of Marketing.

Scottish Rite Park also plays host for the Woodland Heights Organization meetings as well as other community, church and civic gatherings.
Services provided at Scottish Rite Park include independent living, home care services, residential and memory care, as well as short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing. Residents there get to enjoy amenities such as a fitness center and pool, movie theater, bistro and lounge and penthouse views of the neighborhood.
“Although Scottish Rite Park is 50 years old, the goal of our continuous updating/remodeling has been to keep it up-to-date while also maintaining its midcentury modern roots,” said Kuehl.

A: We enjoy the close proximity of the businesses on The Avenues, especially since they are within walking or biking distance for our residents and staff. We also enjoy the variety of services and shops that are offered.
