Creating Spaces, Remodeling Residential Design (528 36th Street) was founded in 1977 and provides conceptual design in a single session, for a flat fee.
“I offer a unique service, I’m the one you call BEFORE you call the contractor,” says Marcia Lyon, owner and Principal Designer.
A goal Lyons has for Creating Spaces is “to assist more homeowners, in an affordable way, to arrive at the best solution to solve their problems.”
“Although I have produced projects in many cities in the U.S. via my syndicated newspaper column, I want to more work locally,” she says.
Creating Spaces recently finished Gazali’s, a Mediterranean restaurant, in Waukee.
