The Station on Ingersoll Gives Back Through Free Community Meals
The owners of The Station sports bar decided to use their kitchen to give back, providing hundreds of free meals to those in need every day during this Covid-19 crisis. Knowing they wouldn’t make a profit at this time, co-owner TJ Rushing says they chose to feed people in need. They are adhering to strict cleanliness guidelines and a no-contact system. There is even a table set up outside for food donations. Yesterday they gave away 150 Mac and Cheese meals. Today it is free chicken enchiladas for individuals and families. Call 515-381-0052 and order between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., pick up from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. They are located at 3124 Ingersoll Ave.
