A new creative hair salon has joined Ingersoll Avenue.
Salon Bounce, 2928 Ingersoll, opened in the summer of 2025. They are an elevated hair salon that specializes in curly hair, calico hair color, and grungy shags. The salon serves all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and gender expressions.

“We are one of the first (maybe only?) curly hair salons in Iowa,” said Lindsey Mollenhauer, owner of Salon Bounce.
The salon has enjoyed meeting neighbors during Ingersoll events.
“We really loved the turnout of for Beggar’s Night – we love Halloween and had fun decorating with mermaid skeletons and an underwater theme for more than 200 trick or treaters!” said Mollenhauer. “We’re looking forward to more Ingersoll events!”
