Looking lift your holiday spirits? Head to Miracle on Ingersoll, a holiday pop-up bar located inside Dugan’s Hideaway (3124 Ingersoll Ave.) at The Station on Ingersoll. Miracle on Ingersoll is decorated floor-to-ceiling in Christmas decor and features a full menu of holiday cocktails served in speciality glassware.
“Miracle is something we look forward to every year,” said TJ Rushing, owner. “And now in our fifth year, we are starting to see it become a holiday tradition for many, and it’s great to be a part of something so special to people.”
Miracle on Ingersoll does take reservations and they are strongly encouraged, though walk-ins are welcome if there is space available. Reservations can be made at miracledsm.com for both the Ingersoll and Jordan Creek locations.
“We try to be you before or after dinner spot as we only serve cocktails and appetizers. So it’s a great starting off or finishing spot,” said Rushing. For a full-service dining experience, customers can visit The Station next door.
Miracle on Ingersoll will be open Nov. 20 – Jan. 3. Hours vary from week to week and can be found at miracledsm.com.
Don’t miss a new feature this year: Themed trivia on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. Themes include: Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and It’s a Wonderful Life.
“As we’ve grown throughout the years, we’ve learned how to make things more efficient for the guests and for our staff,” said Rushing.
“We’re confident that this year will be the biggest and best Miracle yet.”

Q: What’s your favorite part about doing business on The Avenues?
A: We consider our location one of our best assets as a business. There’s a lot of buzz around our neighborhood, especially around the holidays, and all the businesses here do a great job of making Ingersoll a hot spot of Des Moines.
