At Liz Lidgett Gallery + Design (2921 Ingersoll Avenue), customers can purchase fine art, commission custom art, and receive interior design services.
“We’re privileged to represent Iowa artists, along with a monthly Iowa artist feature, that promotes the local arts and culture of Des Moines. We work really hard to make sure artists feel valued (and paid!) for the good, important work they’re doing in the community,” said Tina Ehrlich, Director of Operations at Liz Lidgett Gallery + Design.
The gallery is free and open to the public, and it always pays artists for their work, supporting its core beliefs: artists deserve payment and art should be accessible to all people.
“We’d love to continue bringing in more foot traffic into the gallery. Because we sell so much online, it’s easy to focus on that part of the business—but we really want to share the space with nearby, local friends!” said Ehrlich.
Liz Lidgett, owner of Liz Lidgett Gallery + Design believes that “Art is for Everyone”, as stated on the windows of her gallery and the title of her new book.
The book “Art For Everyone,” released in April 2026, is described as “a practical, step-by-step guide to collecting and curating your own art collection that will transform your space on any budget.” You can find Liz’s book on Amazon, at Target on pick up a copy on the shelves of her gallery.
Looking to purchase fine art on a budget? Liz Lidgett Gallery + Design offers pieces under $500 year-round, and each July, almost every artist at the gallery creates smaller works under $500. Starting July 10, customers can purchase these online or in person!
The gallery celebrated its 7th Anniversary in May 2026. Check out their anniversary art show titled “SEVEN” at their Ingersoll studio, or take a look online.
