Crème Bakery (543 28th St) is a made-from-scratch bakery with a focus on cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and milk bread. Crème has been part of The Avenues business community for the past decade, but recently came under new ownership in Summer 2022. 
“We are something completely different now!” said new owner Sammy Mila-Adams. “Our goal is to be a one-stop-shop for all things ‘snacks’ – not just desserts, and we want to show everyone that desserts don’t have to be super sweet.”
The bakery also hosts “Midnight Munchies” every Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m.–midnight featuring cocktails (and mocktails!) plus sweet and savory treats.
“It’s a fun, casual, hang-out spot for people wanting a night cap, instant noodles, and cake slices,” said Mila-Adams.
Crème is only bakery in the Ingersoll area and also supports other bakers and makers by partnering with 10+ other local brands to carry their items in-store. Q: What’s your favorite part about doing business on The Avenues?
A: The sense of community! I love all of the neighbors and have felt very welcomed since taking over. There have also been conversations about potential collaborations in the near future!
