ASK Studio is a Midwest-based architecture firm, directed by the vision established by its founders and owners Brent Schipper and Michael Kastner, offering master planning, architectural, interior and product design services. They’ve been doing business on The Avenues since 2006.
You can find ASK Studio’s office at 3716 Ingersoll Avenue. However, you’ve probably spotted some of their work around the Des Moines metro. ASK Studio designed recognizable projects such as the Riviera Stage at Riverview Park, renovations to the Butler Mansion and Iowa Gold Star Military Museum.
ASK describes the philosophy of their work as “rooted in our definition of architecture, our client’s definition of success and resolute respect for place, its beauty, fragility and spirit.” See their full portfolio here.
ASK Studio has also been involved in projects along The Avenues, including at Scottish Rite, Plymouth Place, 4000 Ingersoll (pictured above) and 3801 Grand.
“We are vital as stewards of one of the existing buildings and designers of some of the latest additions to the fabric of The Avenues,” said Schipper. “ASK Studio wants to be part of what makes the Avenues special decades from today.”
